Naschmarkt Vienna

The Naschmarkt is the most famous market in Vienna. With 120 market stalls and trendy restaurants, it provides a colorful, international flair. Whether Italian, Indian, Oriental or regional Viennese – the culinary offer is impressive. This is where the world meets.

Naschmarkt Vienna – a walk to marvel, discover and taste

The name says it all: “Naschmarkt” means nothing other than that you can taste and snack to your heart’s content here. Various delicacies from all countries are offered. From cheese to wine, meat, fish and sausages, spices, roasted almonds in all flavors, but also fruits and vegetables. Among the food stalls with fresh produce you will find souvenirs for loved ones at home.

Treat yourself to a break in one of the trendy eateries at the Naschmarkt, such as NENI. It’s one of three restaurants in Vienna, owned by chef Haya Malcho and her family. Meanwhile, the iconic NENI can be found in numerous cities in Europe, such as Hamburg, Zurich, Copenhagen, Paris or Amsterdam. Here you will find Israeli cuisine, family hospitality and an international audience. True to Haya Malcho’s philosophy, “Just put it on the table and share.”

The Naschmarkt is easy to combine with a visit to Schönbrunn Palace. It is, in fact, on the way to the former imperial summer residence. Just turn vis a vis from the Vienna State Opera into Operngasse and walk straight for 5 minutes, visit Naschmarkt and then continue with U4 to the sight No.1, Schönbrunn Palace.
